Kredyt preferencyjny - kredyt z dopłatami budżetu państwa wykorzystywany jako instrument sterowania rolnictwem. Stanowi pośrednią formę dofinansowania rolnictwa z budżetu państwa. Minusy: zniekształcają rachunek ekonomiczny i nie zabezpieczają przed wykorzystaniem środków.
Kredyt bankowy - operacja polegająca na postawieniu przez bank do dyspozycji kredytobiorcy na czas oznaczony określonej kwoty środków pieniężnych, z przeznaczeniem na określony cel.
